Are Romantic Love And Affection Related To Well-Being?

Love has often been called the language of the heart, because it speaks both languages fluently. This is not only true in the verbal sense, but also in the non-verbal sense. The heart is able to speak the language of love even without uttering a single word. It can express itself through body language, touch, choice of accessories, facial expressions, and even behavior.

Love encompasses a broad range of positive and negative emotional and psychological states, from the highest sublime ideal, to the mildest personal pleasure, to the toughest conflict. Feelings range from being utterly pleased and joyful at the perfections of another, to feeling guilty and devastated at the downfall of a loved one. These are just a few of the emotions that one can experience during love. To further complicate the picture, there are feelings for friends, family, enemies, colleagues, acquaintances, neighbors, enemies, sexual encounters, and for many other objects and subjects.

Love allows us to share our most intimate thoughts, feelings, and emotions with another person. This sharing creates an intimate bond, which brings two people closer together than they were before. Love can vary from casual, light, and intimate gestures, such as touching your lover’s arm during a conversation, to deeper, more meaningful feelings, such as those experienced when you hold another person’s hand in yours. When intimacy is present between two people, their emotions become very real to each other, and their actions become more powerful and real.

However, love does not always lead to an enhanced level of intimacy. Sometimes, it can lead to feelings of loneliness and frustration, as well as negative emotions and behaviors. This is because feelings of love sometimes become associated with the exuberance of romantic love, which can be very powerful. The result can be depression, loneliness, anger, resentment, and other negative emotions.

While love is an important emotion, it is not unconditional love. One must choose to love unconditionally in order to experience true intimacy. Unconditional love, also known as kindness, does not demand that any reciprocation be experienced by either party. For example, although a mother does all she can to provide her children with love and attention, neither she nor her children will expect the mother to provide love and attention in return.

The above example illustrates that love and affection are closely intertwined with one another. However, one can choose to express love in different ways. It may be through words, or it may be through the things that you do to help others or protect them. Love is not always easy to describe, but when you connect with someone, you can feel the positive emotions that come along with that love, whether it is romantic love affection, or other types of affection.
